A major part of a 1950s housewife's life would be to be up before the children and the husband in the house are up, and to be dressed in, a dress, heels, jewelry, and have her hair, nails, and makeup done. She would have breakfast, which would be a full breakfast with orange juice, bacon, eggs, and toast, and waffles once a week. I think that if the lady of the house got up before her family, get dress in nice house clothing, and make breakfast for her husband and children. This may be hard at first but after a while you start to feel fresh and be ready to have a smile for your family to meet, you will see how happy your family is to have a hot breakfast, and a happy mother/wife.
